Friday, May 17, 2013 | Leave a comment ? (0) It's amazing what a year can do: how someone who meant so much to you last year, can be just a stranger now; and how someone who was just a stranger last year, can mean so much to you right now.
11 months have passed since I've first entered college, KML, and now I'm an ex-KMLian. This weekend, a whole new batch of juniors are gonna register there and live the life of a KMLian. Weeks has passed since I've left or 'graduated' from KML but somehow, I wish I could go back and relive it again. It has not been a year, but these 11 months have changed my life. Friendships are built and memories were created. I have met awesome people and undergo unforgettable experiences in this long but short period.
--Part 1: The Roommates--
First few people whom I met in college are my roommates. I remember we used to compete against each other in the Need For Speed game, watch movies together till late in the night, cramming our brain to study for exams till dawn, complaining about the WiFi, and talk about random things together for hours before we go to take our baths late at night. I remember we used to order 7-8 burgers at night during the exam study week because we're so stressed. One time we were done watching a horror movie at dawn and I just had to go to the toilet to relieve my bladder, one of my roommate would accompany me to the toilet. I know, it's funny how a big grown girl would be afraid to go to the toilet alone. But hey, blame it on the horror movie, not me. Lol. Anyway, we used to go on outing together, buy stuffs we need (and don't need lol) and had to carry them all the way to the bus stop far, far away. It was tiring, but I was happy I get to spend that day outing with you guys. When there were meetings at the hall on Fridays, we would escape it together and spend that afternoon sleeping away in our dorm.
Our last memories together is when we took videos of us making a few song covers and even went crazy dancing to that Sayang song, and took our last picture together on the first day of our final semester exam. I don't know if my roommates will read this, but I sincerely wanna thank you for putting up with me. You've seen me laugh, you've seen me cry. Thank you, for cheering me up when I was down, and thank you for listening to my problems. And thank God for giving me the chance to meet them and letting them be my roommates. I wouldn't want any other to be my roommates, even though we've had our occasional cold-wars and awkward moments, which we got through together in the end. Thank you, guys. I'll always miss the days we live together in that small dorm B.T1.21 of ours, and I'll of course, miss you guys.
