--Part 2: The Classmates--

The next bunch of people I met is my classmates, BC4T17ers. Nothing much to say, these people are awesome and very dear to me. I've grown very attached to them with each passing day in college, like my own family. We see each other for class everyday from 7 to 4, we have our brunch/lunch and sometimes dinner together, we rush for our reports, assignments and projects together, we fight our quizzes, exams and boring English classes(lol) together and we go on lots of trips together. With them are where most of my precious memories in college were created.

Early in the first semester, we're still in the process of getting to know each other. Back then, we still have that innocent, kid face. Looking back at pictures from those days and comparing them with how we all look now, I realized each one of us have changed. I can say that for myself too. I had a shoulder-length black hair, wore spectacles which made me look like a nerd, and pimples everywhere on my face. One word to describe me back then — skema. Now, well I can tell you I look way better. (narcissistic much? lol :P) Hmm, to be honest, I definitely think that most of my classmates have changed, appearance/physically and attitude/personality-wise.

First semester went by normally, to be honest. The picture above was taken before we were scolded by the librarian the first few weeks of college because we took photos in the library, which was forbidden and may cause us to be kicked out of college. Good thing we got off with just a warning because we seriously didn't know that. It was scary, yet funny if we look back at it now. :D

I remember Clarissa, whom I am close with had to transfer out of KML. It was sad to let her go because we were tight as we always hang together. And not to forget Jane too. She went for SPA before I got the chance to know her more. Too bad, huh? Continue on, we also had our first class photoshoot! But not all of them turn up though as it was held on a Saturday morning. Irene who owns an expensive DSLR camera for pros was our photographer, aided by Rhen her best friend. Our shooting location was the Astaka, so there were shots of us running on the track field. The best thing is, whenever I see those pictures again now, I can't help but smile along because we seemed so happy and cheerful when we took those pictures.

Nearing the end of the semester and the exam, we went to Madam Rosnani's house for Raya open house. It was the first time we went up the lecturer's block, and we almost went into the correct unit but the wrong block! Good thing we didn't though. Or else it would be embarrassing. In madam's house, we had to sit on the floor as there were too many people. We all ate a lot, and even went for second and third rounds while chitchatting with each other.

Then came the second and final semester. We're a lot closer, and we've grown closer to our mentor too. We even call our mentor, Madam Izyan our mummy, Sir Hafizal as our daddy and Iman as our little brother. I remember we went to madam's house to have barbeque on a sunny Saturday. But the day before, Jhaja, Paul, Nat and I had a sleepover at madam's house to prepare the things needed for the barbeque. We rode on sir's car for the first time and we went shopping for food with sir and madam, and of course with Iman too. And we got treated to KFC that night and it's the first time we went to Financial Park at night. Well, I can say there's nothing to see there at night too. Anyway, that night we made sir and madam's house as our own home, staying up late to watch tv (ahem, boxing. lol) and fell asleep in front of the tv.

The next day, the rest of the class came with a bus. Since Nat knows how to ride one, we rode on sir's motorcycle to show them the way as the house was far from the main road, and there were lots of junctions too. The most memorable part is when we tricked the class to just walk straight on which leads deeper into the kampung surrounded by thick bushes and trees, and we told them we would be keeping watch of them from the back. They really did what they're told and went straight on, straight past the house which is just on top of the hill on the left side. When they're way, way far from us, we shouted at them and zoomed up the hill on the left. Oh the look on their face when they finally get what we did and finally arrived at the house few moments later. It was funny and epic! XD

After that, it was back to business. We helped each other out, chopping what needs to be chopped, cooking together, starting the fire for the barbeque, making the drinks, etc. It was a fun day, with lots of smiles and photo-takings, not to mention music! Greg had brought his speaker set that day so that we wouldn't get bored, which was very thoughtful of him. And so, some of us sang along to kpop songs and Lisa, Nat and I danced to Gangnam Style. By afternoon, the food was ready but before we're ready to dig in, madam told us that our class, BC4T17 is ranked #1 based on our average result for our second mid-semester exam, which was a confidential information and not supposed to be known by the students. How happy and shock we were! And madam told us that they're really proud of us. :')

Soon, the barbeque ended and we're all full but the day didn't end just like that. A few of us went outing to Financial Park to buy a gift for madam. We went around clueless of what to get her. In the end, we got her a Casio watch, worth RM1xx. (Hah, not gonna tell you exactly how much it worths. :P)

We finally gave it to her during Majlis Restu Ilmu on the Friday night before study week. The whole class went up, wearing our royal blue class shirt designed by yours truly :P. So it was a blue wave, going up on the stage together to present the gift. After that we had a photo session and towards the end of it, I see a few of my classmates started to cry. To be honest, I was sad because that night was probably the last time we'll see each other again. The thought of leaving these people I learned to love and care about, it crushed me, but I tried to hold it inside. And when I see them crying, I literally broke down as well. Tears flowed out, and we group-hugged each other tightly. That's when I realized, I really got attached to them like my own family, and the fact that separation is now closer than ever.

Around 10pm, they asked us to empty the hall as it was late. So, we brought the party to the street! We took lots of photo together in the dark starry night, from the padang kawad to the flagpoles in front of MP, from the two-way street in front of MP to the one and only roundabout in KML. We went crazy that night: sitting right in the middle of road together like a boss, dancing to Harlem Shake and Fantastic Baby which Greg recorded the videos, running around the roundabout together. And the funniest part was when a lecturer's car passed by and we stopped the crazy things we did and to try to look normal like nothing happened in the middle of the road. It was hilarious. We went on like that until midnight. That was the first and the last time we did that together. To be frank, it was one of the best moments with you guys. :')

Finally, the last day we met again was the night of the last day of exam for us BC students, 29th April. It was kind of impromptu and we had not much plan on what to do and what to bring that night. We brought guitars, and a few others and I sponsored snacks. It was supposed to be at the padang kawad but since the rain started to fall, we moved to the squash court instead. There we celebrated Greg's birthday. Von, Chel and I bought him a shirt. Greg, if you're reading this, you better treasure that shirt! And we actually thought we wanna give you boxers instead! HAHAHAHA XD That night in the court, we danced to Gentleman, took lots of photo, a couple of 'farewell' videos and exchanged our farewell gifts, in which I gave each and every one of them a love letter.

After that, most went back to dorm and the rest of us went to Astaka. There we sang songs, we talked, and took a video of our class' Three Voices singing Listen! It was hilarious seeing them not hitting the high notes and forgetting the lyrics. But soon the party ended because there's two security guards coming our way in a distance. It was nearing 11pm, which was pass our curfew when we're supposed to be at dorm, preparing to go to lalaland, not out and about. So we left, after saying our goodnights and goodbyes.

The next day, my family came and I was asked to left KML that evening, when I was planning to get out tomorrow. I was sad, packing up my things and carrying them down to the car. Coincidentally, I met a few of my classmates again. Mira, Eqa, Gee and a few of my other friends. Mel called Von who was at the cafe to come to see before I leave. And then I met Irene when I was dropping my exit-letter and my dorm key. We exchanged hugs and goodbyes, this time, it's for real.

The whole time in the car after leaving my old block, I cried.
With tears blocking my clear sight, I tried to look out the windows.
And I tried to take a last view of the college.
I tried to absorb the view and carve it into my mind.
Each building, each road.
Those paths I used to walk on.
Those places I used to go.
There were moments and memories created there,
no matter how simple and insignificant they may seem.

The moment the car stopped at the gates and the guard was asking for that exit-letter, it hit me hard. And I cried harder when the car finally went pass the gates, the gates to the place where I spent the most memorable and unforgettable time of my life. I was down, even when my family brought me to Pizza Hut for dinner. I tried to fake like I'm fine. I tried to look okay. But deep down inside I know, not even food can cheer this food-lover up.

That night at the hotel, I cried when I'm the only one still awake. So many thought running through my mind. So many regrets washing over me. I wished I hadn't left that day. I wished I hadn't agreed with my parents. I wished I could stay longer, even for just a day. I wished time would turn back to when I was happy with my classmates and stopped right there. I wished we didn't have to leave. I wished we didn't have to separate. Too many wishes, too many regrets.

But in the end, I was thankful that God brought me to this path, that He gave me the chance to experience that and to meet with you guys, my precious classmates, even though we are now scattered and far away from each other. The times we spent together are not times wasted. For those are the times we were happy, together. I can only pray and hope that our paths will cross again someday where we'll meet each other again. Perhaps when that day comes, we'll laugh reminiscing the past. But right now, we'll just cry. :')

To all BC4T17ers, you guys are the best! I hope each and every one of you will always remember this period of our life where we grow together. And I wish you guys all the best in your future journeys and I pray that all of us can fly high, to reach our dreams. I will miss all of you and I love you guys so much! ❤

All good things must come to an end, but I wouldn't want it to end with any other people.
P.S: Take care, all of you. ;__;
P.P.S: I know what I wrote in this post is not all of it. There's too much memories to write down, and too many pictures to post. I'll post them in other posts, I promise. :)
